Abstract

Alat pelindung diri berfungsi untuk melindungi sebagian atau seluruh tubuh manusia dari potensi bahaya di tempat kerja kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja. Kurangnya Sikap dan kesadaran pekerja dalam  menggunakan alat pelindung diri menyebabkan  munculnya kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara sikap dengan  perilaku  penggunaan alat pelindung diri pada pekerja  bagian pemisahan fiber kelapa sawit di PT.Supra Matra Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian adalah menggunakan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh pekerja pada bagian pemisahan fiber kelapa sawit sebanyak 40 orang. Data penelitian diperoleh dari observasi dan instrumen kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan univariat dan bivariat melalui uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 47,5 % yang mempunyai sikap positif dan 52,5 % yang mempunyai sikap negatif terhadap penggunaan alat pelindung diri. Hasil analisa bivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap (p-value 0,041 < 0,05) dengan perilaku penggunaan  alat pelindung diri pada pekerja bagian pemisahan fiber sawit. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan informasi bagi perusahan dalam tindakan preventif untuk meningkatkan sikap kepedulian terhadap pentingnya budaya keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja serta bagi pekerja untuk disiplin menggunakan alat pelindung diri.
