Abstract

ABSTRAK

Pemeriksaan kehamilan atau pelayanan antenatal merupakan salah satu layanan terpenting untuk menurunkan angka kematian ibu. ANC yang berkualitas mampu mengurangi risiko komplikasi bagi ibu hamil maupun janin yang dikandungnya. Oleh sebab itu pemeriksaan kehamilan yang dilakukan sejak awal masa kehamilan sangat dianjurkan untuk mendeteksi dini adanyakomplikasi kehamilan. Sehingga tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberikan sebuah edukasi bahwa pentingnya pemeriksan kehamilan agar  dapat memberikan kesadaran tentang bahaya resiko kehamilan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, menampilkan video serta memahami buku KIA yaitu buku yang dijadikan sebuah panduan saat masa kehamilan. Hasil penyuluhan kesehatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta kegiatan terutama ibu hamil tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan kehamilan selama hamil. Disarankan bidan dan kader Kesehatan selalu memotivasi ibu hamil untuk melakukan ANC.

ABSTRACT Prenatal care or antenatal care is one of the most important services to reduce maternal mortality. The quality of ANC can reduce the risk of complications for pregnant women and the fetus they contain. Therefore, prenatal checks carried out early in pregnancy are highly recommended for early detection of pregnancy complications. The purpose of this activity is to provide education about the importance of prenatal check-ups in order to provide awareness about the dangers of pregnancy risks. This activity was carried out by using the lecture method, question and answer method, showing videos and understanding the MCH book which was used as a guide during pregnancy. The results of health education showed that there was an increase in the participants' knowledge, especially pregnant women, about the importance of prenatal check-ups during pregnancy. It is recommended for midwives and health cadres always motivate pregnant women to perform ANC.
