Abstract

Memberikan Air Susu Ibu (ASI) sejak awal kelahiran bayi merupakan hal yang sangat penting, karena memiliki sejuta manfaat karena memiliki kandungan Gizi yang lengkap sesuai kebutuhan bayi. Masalah menyusui yang umum dihadapi ibu nifas dan menghambat kesuksesan pemberian ASI eksklusif adalah ibu merasakan produksi ASI sedikit, yang pasti dapat menghambat proses menyusui dan menurunkan rasa percaya diri ibu. ASI yang tidak lancar disebabkan pelepasan hormon oksitosin pada tubuh ibu nifas. Salah satu uapaya meningkatkan pelepasan hormon oksitosin dengan cara melakukan pijat oksitosin.pada ibu nfas.

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan ibu nifas dan keluarga dalam melaksanakan pijat oksitosin pada ibu nifas. Bahan yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat kepada ibu nifas dan keluarga yaitu brosur. Dengan metode pemberian konseling terhadap ibu nifas dan keluarga, kemudian pelaksanaan pijat oksitosin guna mengajarkan ibu nifas dan keluarga dengan cara memijat punggung ibu, agar bisa dilaksanakan di rumah. Ibu dan keluarga diajarkan beberapa teknik dalam pijat oksitosin.

Dengan Pengabdian ini ibu dan keluarga lebih paham manfaat dan cara melakukan pijat oksitosin, sehingga produksi Air Susu Ibu meningkat dan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif tercapai
