Abstract

ABSTRAK

 

Gempa bumi masih menjadi salah satu bencana di Indonesia. Data dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menyebutkan bahwa 75% dari total 355.270 bangunan sekolah di Indonesia berada pada wilayah yang berisiko sedang hingga tinggi. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini untuk memberikan edukasi kepada siswa di SMP IT Darul Hasan Padangsidimpuan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Hutaimbaru Kota Padangsidimpuan tentang pengetahuan Tanggap Darurat Gempa Bumi. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dengan pemberian materi berupa PPT, Leaflet  dan sesi tanya jawab. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama 2 jam pada Hari Sabtu 28 Oktober 2023 yang bertempat di SMP IT Darul Hasan Padangsidimpuan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Hutaimbaru Kota Padangsidimpuan Sumatera Utara. Hasil yang didapatkan setelah kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan terkait Tanggap Darurat Gempa Bumi Siswa/siswi di SMP IT Darul Hasan Padangsidimpuan.
