Abstract

Organ reproduksi merupakan salah satu organ tubuh yang sensitif dan memerlukan perawatan khusus. Pengetahuan dan perawatan yang baik merupakan faktor penentu dalam memelihara kesehatan reproduksi. Salah satu gejala terjadinya kelainan atau penyakit pada organ reproduksi adalah Keputihan. Berdasarkan data penelitian tentang kesehatan reproduksi wanita menunjukkan 75% wanita di dunia pasti menderita keputihan, paling tidak sekali dalam hidupnya. Sedangkan wanita Indonesia sendiri 75% pasti mengalami keputihan minimal satu kali dalam hidupnya. Lebih dari 70% wanita Indonesia mengalami keputihan yang disebabkan oleh jamur dan parasit seperti cacing kremi atau protozoa (Trichomonas vaginalis). Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah penyuluhan kesehatan tentang vulva hygiene. Penyuluhan Kesehatan dilakukan untuk menjelaskan secara mendalam tentang vulva hygiene, termasuk defenisi, penyebab, gejala, pencegahan, penatalaksanaan dan dampaknya pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Penyuluhan ini dilakukan pada siswi di SMP 6 Kota Padangsidimpuan penyuluhan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah,Tanya jawab kemudian dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dengan siswi .dengan diadakannya penyuluhan ini siswi perempuan di SMP 6 Kota Padangsidimpuan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan kesehatan tentang vulva hygiene terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan tentang vulva hygiene pada remaja perempuan di sekolah. Tujuan Pengabdian: untuk meningkatkan Pengetahuan Remaja Perempuan Mengenai Vulva Hygiene
