Abstract

Desa Dolok Godang merupakan salah satu desa di kecamatan Angkola Selatan dengan pengelolaan sampah yang kurang baik. Tidak tersedianya tempat pembuangan sampah serta kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait Pengelolaan sampah yang tepat. Hal tersebut terlihat dari kebiasaan Masyarakat di lingkungan desa Dolok Godang membuang sampah belum pada tempat yang tepat bahkan belum ada tempat pembuangan sampah yang tersedia. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan informasi  serta pendampingan terhadap pentingnya tidak membuang sampah sembarangan dan sanitasi di lingkungan rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah penyuluhan kesehatan dan sosialisasi terkait pembuangan sampah yang di rancang dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab dengan jumlah peserta adalah 25 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya  pengetahuan masyarakat dalam pengolaan sampan rumah tangga, tersedianya tempat pembuangan sampah sehingga Masyarakat tidak membuang sampah sembarangan di lingkungan rumah tangga menjadi baik yang menciptakan lingkungan rumah tangga yang bersih dan sehat.
