LANSIA HEBAT: TEPAT DAN CERMAT MENGGUNAKAN OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI DAN ANTIKOLESTEROL

Berbagai permasalahan terkait obat dapat dikarenakan masyarakat kurang paham tentang penggunaan dan penanganan obat dengan benar. Salah satu cara pengelolaan obat yang baik dan benar adalah dengan menerapkan program DAGUSIBU (DApatkan, GUnakan, SImpan, BUang). Penyakit yang paling banyak dideriat oleh lansia adalah hipertensi dan kolesterol.Berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh, masyarakat di Kelurahan Napa  belum pernah mendapatkan informasi tentang DAGUSIBU sehingga perlu dilakukan sosialisasi tentang DAGUSIBU.  Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan informasi kepada masyarakat khususnya Lansia tentang tepat dan cermat menggunaan obat antihipertensi dan antikolesterol yang rasional. Pemberian Informasi Obat, tepat dan cermat  dalam menggunakan obat antihipertensi dan antikolesterol. Metode kegiatan ini melibatkan masayarakat di Kelurahan Napa, Kecamatan Angkola Selatan, Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Pengabdian Ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk ceramah disajikan dalam bentuk powerpoint, pembagian leaflet, dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah Masyarakat terutama Lansia di Kelurahan Napa Kepling 1 Kecamatan Angkola Selatan, Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan,  memahami serta tepat dan cermat dalam mengkonsumsi obat  terkhususnya obat antihipertensi dan antikolesterol pada lansia.

Various problems related to drugs can be caused by people not understanding about the correct use and handling of drugs. One way to manage medicines properly and correctly is to implement the DAGUSIBU program (GET, USE, SAVE, DISCARD). The diseases most frequently suffered by the elderly are hypertension and cholesterol. Based on the information obtained, the people in Napa Village have never received information about DAGUSIBU so it is necessary to provide outreach about DAGUSIBU.  The aim of this service activity is to provide outreach and information to the public, especially the elderly, about the appropriate and careful use of antihypertensive and anticholesterol drugs rationally. Providing drug information, being precise and careful in using antihypertensive and anticholesterol drugs. This activity method involves the community in Napa Village, South Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency. This service is carried out in the form of lectures presented in powerpoint form, distribution of leaflets, and questions and answers. The result of this service is that the community, especially the elderly in Napa Kepling 1 Subdistrict, South Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency, understands and is appropriate and careful in consuming medication, especially antihypertensive and anticholesterol medication in the elderly.
