Abstract

Tekanan darah merupakan kekuatan lateral pada dinding arteri oleh darah yang didorong dengan tekanan darah dari jantung. Puncak dari tekanan maksimum saat ejeksi terjadi adalah tekanan darah sistolik dan pada saat ventrikel berelaksasi, darah yang tetap dalam arteri menimbulkan tekanan diastolic. Pada Lansia Hipertensi, perlu dilakukan Tindakan yang dapat menurunkan tekanan darah untuk mencegah terjadinya komplikasi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan Masyarakat tentang Tindakan yang dapat menurunkan tekanan darah pada lansia dan untuk menurunkan tekanan darah lansia di desa Kayu Laut. Sebelum dilakukan senam lansia, mayoritas peserta sebanyak 27 peserta (77,2%) memiliki TD yang tinggi (hipertensi), namun setelah dilakukan senam lansia didapatkan penurunan tekanan darah lansia yaitu mayoritas peserta sebanyak 23 peserta (65,7%) memiliki tekanan darah yang normal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa Senam lansia dapat dikombinasikan dengan terapi rendam kaki dengan air hangat dan metode tarik napas dalam sehingga tujuan untuk dapat menurunkan tekanan darah dapat tercapai.
