Pencegahan Preeklamsia Melalui Pengendalian Faktor Risiko Hipertensi Pada Wanita Usia Subur

Abstract

Hipertensi kronis telah diidentifikasi sebagai salah satu faktor risiko tertinggi terjadinya preeklampsia. Analisis situasi pada mitra ditemukan tingginya kasus preeklamsia (33,3%) dan kasus hipertensi kronis pada Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) sebesar 22,7%. Kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat akan pentingnya pencegahan dan pengedalian hipertensi menjadi faktor penguat penyebab masalah pada mitra. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan WUS tentang pencegahan preeklamsia melalui pengendalian hipertensi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 dan 16 Agustus 2025 dengan kegiatan berupa pemeriksaan tinggi badan, berat badan, tekanan darah, serta edukasi tentang pencegahan dan pengendalian hipertensi dan preeklamsia pada WUS. Kegiatan ini menemukan tekanan darah WUS yang cenderung tinggi (120–139 mmHg) berjumlah 23,2% dan tekanan darah ≥140 mmHg sebanyak 12,5%. Rata-rata pengetahun responden tentang pencegahan preeklamsia melalui edukasi pengendalian faktor risiko hipertensi pada WUS sebelum dilakukan intervensi sebesar 73.04 point. Setelah dilakukan intervensi, pengetahuan responden meningkat menjadi 88.7 point. Secara keseluruhan edukasi ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan WUS dalam pengendalian hipertensi untuk mencegah preeklamsia. Program edukasi ini sangat relevan sebagai langkah pencegahan dini sekaligus memperkuat peran WUS sebagai agen perubahan di Desa Paluh Manan. Perlu adanya integrasi kegiatan ini ke dalam program rutin posyandu agar pemberdayaan masyarakat berjalan berkesinambungan serta mampu menjangkau lebih banyak WUS
