Pelatihan Olahan Hasil Perikanan dan Pemasaran Digital sebagai Strategi Peningkatan Kemandirian Ekonomi Masyarakat Pesisir Kelurahan Klandasan Ulu

Abstract

Wilayah pesisir Kota Balikpapan memiliki potensi sumber daya perikanan yang besar, namun pemanfaatannya oleh masyarakat nelayan masih terbatas pada penjualan ikan segar dan pengolahan sederhana sehingga nilai tambah produk belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas sumber daya manusia serta membuka peluang ekonomi baru melalui pengembangan produk olahan ikan bernilai tambah. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan persiapan, pra-pelatihan, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Klandasan Ulu RT 003 Kota Balikpapan melalui pelatihan pengolahan ikan, pengemasan produk, dan pengenalan strategi pemasaran digital. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pra-test dan post-test untuk menilai peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengolah ikan menjadi produk rice box sambal ikan dan nugget ikan sebagai produk frozen food, serta peningkatan pemahaman mengenai pengemasan dan pemasaran berbasis digital. Produk yang dihasilkan dinilai memiliki potensi ekonomi dan peluang pasar yang baik. Kesimpulannya, program pengabdian ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat pesisir dan mendorong terciptanya peluang ekonomi baru berbasis produk olahan perikanan yang berkelanjutan.
