Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan fase perkembangan yang rentan terhadap berbagai permasalahan kesehatan reproduksi akibat kurangnya pemahaman mengenai perubahan biologis, perilaku seksual berisiko, dan penyakit menular seksual (PMS). Edukasi kesehatan reproduksi menjadi salah satu upaya preventif penting dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa mengenai kesehatan reproduksi serta pencegahan penyakit menular seksual pada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Kota Ternate. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 April 2026 di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Ternate dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 53 siswa kelas XII. Edukasi dilakukan menggunakan metode participatory learning melalui ceramah interaktif, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), simulasi komunikasi, serta evaluasi pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan uji statistik menggunakan perbandingan nilai pre-test dan post-test. Mayoritas responden berusia 17 tahun (52,8%) dengan rata-rata usia 16,75 ± 0,65 tahun. Sebelum edukasi, sebagian besar siswa memiliki tingkat pengetahuan kategori kurang (81,1%). Setelah edukasi, terjadi peningkatan kategori pengetahuan baik menjadi 67,9%. Nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 45,2 ± 12,4 meningkat menjadi 82,5 ± 10,1 pada post-test dengan nilai p-value sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan setelah pelaksanaan edukasi. Edukasi kesehatan reproduksi berbasis participatory learning efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa mengenai kesehatan reproduksi dan pencegahan penyakit menular seksual pada remaja.
