Abstract

Salah satu komponen dalam Tridharma Perguruan tinggi adalah melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Setiap dosen memiliki kewajiban untuk melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk membagikan ilmu yang dimiliki untuk menunjang kemajuan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat dalam kegiatan ini adalah pengelolaan manajemen keuangan pada wirausaha pemula di UPTD BLK Kota Padangsidimpuan. Industri Kecil dan Menengah merupakan salah satu bentuk usaha yang memproduksi berbagai jenis produk dalam skala kecil dan menengah sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Perindustrian No .64/M-IND/7/2016. Usaha dengan ukuran kecil dan menengah mempunyai peran yang strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi nasional. Kegiatan pengabdian ini juga sejalan dengan program pemerintah yang mendorong kemajuan usaha kecil dan menengah. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah para wirausaha pemula di UPTD BLK Kota Padangsidimpuan. Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 1 hari (22 Juli 2020). Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan tentang pengelolaan keuangan bagi wirausaha pemula. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan agar dapat menjalankan pengaturan keuangan dalam usahanya. Untuk kegiatan pengabdian berikutnya diharapkan dapat memberikan pelatihan yang berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku industri kecil dan menengah dalam melaksanakan pengelolaan keuangan.
