Abstract

ASI Eksklusif memiliki kontribusi yang besar terhadap tumbuh kembang dan daya tahan tubuh anak. Anak yang diberi ASI eksklusif akan tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal dan tidak mudah sakit. Dampak bayi yang tidak diberikan ASI secara eksklusif sampai pada usia 6 bulan pertama kehidupan memiliki resiko diare yang parah dan fatal. Bayi yang tidak diberikan ASI eksklusif, memiliki risiko kematian lebih besar karena terjadinya malnutrisi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan informasi tentang ASI eksklusif dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 25 orang. Hasil evaluasi selama proses kegiatan berlangsung didapatkan seluruh peserta telah paham dan tahu tentang ASI Eksklusif. Dengan adanya pendidikan kesehatan ini, diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu menyusui tentang ASI Ekskluisf sehingga program ASI eksklusif dapat capai.
