Abstract

Hidup sehat harus dibudayakan sejak dini. Penerapan hidup sehat bisa diterapkan melalui kebiasaan sehari-hari ataupun dengan pengaruh lingkungan sekitar. Lingkungan yang bersuh juga berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan. Menjaga kebersihan lingkungan bukanlah suatu hal yang mudah jika tidak dibiasakan sejak dini. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan. Pengabdian dilakukan dalam bentuk penyuluhan tentang pentingnya kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan, serta aksi lapangan dalam bentuk kerja bakti meningkatkan kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan. Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilanjutkan dengan memberikan evaluasi kedapa masyarakat yaitu tanya jawab seputar materi kebersihan lingkungan dan gotong royong. Masyarakat dapat menjawab dan menjelaskan dengan baik pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh sipenyuluh. Setelah pengabdian selesai, tingkat kepedulian sebagian masyarakat terhadap kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan mulai meningkat. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan peran aktif dan antusiasme mereka dalam mengikuti kegiatan aksi lapangan dalam meningkatkan kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan. Kegiatan PKM yang dilaksanakan berjalan dengan baik, masyarakat Desa Simatohir Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Angkola Julu yang mengikuti terlihat bersemangat dan antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan.

 

Healthy living should be cultivated early on. The application of healthy living can be applied through daily habits or with the influence of the surrounding environment. The environment also affects health. Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment is not an easy thing if not accustomed early on. This service aims to increase public concern for cleanliness and environmental health. Devotion is carried out in the form of counseling on the importance of cleanliness and environmental health, as well as field action in the form of devotional work to improve cleanliness and environmental health. The results of this extension activity continued by providing an evaluation of the community, namely Q&A about environmental hygiene materials and gotong royong. The public can answer and explain well the questions asked by the extension. After the service is completed, the level of concern of some people for cleanliness and environmental health begins to increase. This can be seen from the increase in their active role and enthusiasm in participating in field action activities in improving cleanliness and environmental health. PKM activities that are carried out are going well, the people of Simatohir Village of Padangsidimpuan Angkola Julu District who follow look excited and enthusiastic in following the activities.
