Abstract

Penyakit Tuberkulosis adalah penyakit yang menular disebabkan dari masalah kesehatan yang besar kedua di dunia yanag disebabkan oleh bakteri mycobacterium tuberculosi. TB ini dapat menyerang tubuh paling sering dan paling hebat dikrenakan infeksi tuberkulosisi paru-paru. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengeatahuan penghuni atau warga binaan tentang pencegahan penularan tubercolosis (TB).

Masalah yang ditemukan adalah kegiatan penyuluhan tentang pencegahan penularan tubercolosis (TB belum pernah dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan bahwa masi ada penghuni lapas atau warga binaan yang belum mnengetahui tentang pencegahan penularan tubercolosis (TB) warga binaan di lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas IIB Padangsidimpuan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menigkatkan pengetahuan warga binaan di lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas IIB Padangsidimpuan tentang cara pencegahan penularan tubercolosis (TB). Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah didapatkan perubahan pergetahuan warga binaan tentang pencegahan penularan tubercolosis (TB)
