Abstract

Personal Hygiene pada anak asrama panti asuhan ujunggurap padangsidimpuan. Personal Hygiene adalah cara perawatan diri manusia untuk memelihara kesehatan mereka. Pemeliharaan hygiene perorangan diperlukan untuk kenyamanan individu, keamanan dan kesehatan. Seseorang yang sakit, biasanya dikarenakan masalah kebersihan yang kurang diperhatikan. Sedangkan kebersihan perorangan adalah suatu tindakan yang dilakukan untuk memelihara kebersihan dan kesehatan seseorang untuk kesejahteraan fisik dan psikis. Tujuan Personal Hygiene adalah untuk meningkatkan derajat seseorang, memelihara kebersihan diri seseorang, memperbaiki Personal Hygiene yang kurang dapat mencegah timbulnya penyakit, meningkatkan percaya diri seseorang dan menciptakan keindahan. Asrama biasanya merupakan sebuah bangunan dengan kamar-kamar yang dapat di tempati oleh beberapa penghuni di setiap kamarnya. Para penghuninya menginap di asrama untuk jangka waktu yang lebih lama daripada di hotel atau losmen. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah penyuluhan, tanya-jawab dan diskusi, peserta penyuluhan adalah anak asrama penghuni panti asuhan, evaluasi dilakukan oleh observer dengan menggunakan check list dengan penilaian evaluasi struktur, proses dan hasil.

Kata Kunci : Personal Hygiene, penghuni asrama.

ABSTRACT

Personal Hygiene for boarding children at the Ujung Gurap Padangsidimpuan Orphanage. Personal Hygiene is a way of human self-care to maintain their health. Maintenance of personal hygiene is necessary for individual comfort, safety and health. Someone who is sick, usually due to hygiene problems that are not paid attention to. While personal hygiene is an action taken to maintain the cleanliness and health of a person for physical and psychological well-being. The purpose of Personal Hygiene is to improve one's degree, maintain one's personal hygiene, improve Personal Hygiene which is less able to prevent disease, increase one's confidence and create beauty. Dormitory is usually a building with rooms that can be occupied by several occupants in each room. Its residents stay in dormitories for a longer period of time than in hotels or inns. The activities carried out were counseling, question-answer and discussion, the counseling participants were dorm residents, the evaluation was carried out by observers using a check list with evaluation of the structure, process and results.
