Abstract

Pernikahan usia anak atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah pernikahan di bawah umur merupakan salah satu fenomena sosial yang banyak terjadi diberbagai tempat di tanah air, baik di perkotaan maupun di perdesaan. Baik kalangan menengah keatas maupun menengah kebawah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini agar masyarakat dan remaja di SMAN 5 Padangsidimpuan.  mendapat informasi tentang dampak pernikahan dini terhadap kesehatan reproduksi wanita dan tidak mudah melakukan pernikahan di usia dini. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksankan pada hari Kamis tanggal 19 November 2020. Adapun kegiatan yang dilakukan berupa penyuluhan kepada masyarakat dan remaja tentang materi dampak pernikahan dini terhadap kesehatan reproduksi wanita di SMAN 5 Padangsidimpuan. Pengabdian  masyarakat  ini  dilakukan  dengan  metode  ceramah  dan leaflet. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini diterima antusias oleh peserta yang  terlihat  dari banyaknya pasangan yang bertanya seputar materi yang telah diberikan. Disarankan kegiatan penyuluhan dilaksanakan berkala dengan frekuensi lebih sering dan jangkauan penyebaran informasinya juga dapat diperluas kepada keluarga secara umum  agar setiap  orang, keluarga dan masyarakat lebih mengetahui, memahami tentang tentang dampak pernikahan dini khususnya terhadap kesehatan reproduksi wanita sehingga pengetahuan masyarakat khususnya remaja lebih baik.
