Abstract

Kesehatan gigi dan mulut sesungguhnya merupakan bagian integral dari kesehatan tubuh secara keseluruhan yang tentunya tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kesehatan tubuh secara umum.Usia anak pra sekolah merupakan usian penting dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan fisik seseorang anak. Periode ini juga disebut sebagai periode kritis karena pada masa ini anak mulai mengembangkan kebiasaan yang biasanya menetap sampai dewasa.Salah satunya terjadi kebiasaan menyikat gigi. Menurut survey yang dilakukan , kebiasaan anak Indonesia untuk menyikat gigi dengan baik masih rendah. Perawatan gigi seperti menyigat gigi dianggap tidak terlalu penting, padahal manfaatnya sangat viral dalam menunjang kesehatan dan penampilan. Tujuan pengabdian nuntuk Meningkatkan pengetahuan anak pra sekolah tentang sikat gigi yang benar. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu pendidikan kesehatan tentang sikat gigi pada anak usia pra sekolah . Kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan berjalan dengan baik , kegiatan tampak antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan tentang sikat gigi pada usia pra sekolah . Hal ini dibuktikan dengan antusias anak  menjalankan kegiatan dengan teratur dan tertib juga mendengarkan  pendidikan kesehtan tentang sikat gigi pada anak usia pra sekolah Dan Kegiatan demontrasi menyikat gigi dengan benar , menempel spanduk dan foto bersamaoleh panitia kegiatan dan anak.

Dental and oral health is actually an integral part of overall body health which of course cannot be separated from general body health. Pre-school age is an important age for a child's physical growth and development. This period is also referred to as the critical period because at this time children begin to develop habits that usually persist into adulthood. One of them occurs is the habit of brushing teeth. According to a survey conducted, the habit of Indonesian children to brush their teeth properly is still low. Dental care such as brushing teeth is considered not very important, even though the benefits are very viral in supporting health and appearance. The purpose of the service is to increase the knowledge of pre-school children about the correct toothbrush. The form of activity carried out is health education about toothbrushing for pre-school age children. The counseling activities that were carried out went well, the activities seemed enthusiastic in participating in health education activities about toothbrushing at the pre-school age. This is evidenced by the enthusiasm of children carrying out activities in an orderly and orderly manner as well as listening to health education about toothbrushing for pre-school age children and demonstration activities of brushing teeth properly, sticking banners and taking photos together by the activity committee and children.
