Abstract

Saat ini banyak metode yang bisa dilakukan untuk mengurangi kelelahan pasca persalinan dan membantu memperlancar produksi asi, pengetahuan tentang obat dan pengobatan merupakan salah satu bidang terpenting dari pengetahuan tradisional yang dimiliki oleh semua masyarakat. Seperti halnya masyarakat diwilayah Cengkeh Turi Binjai khususnya Klinik Pratama Anugerah tentang pemanfaatan pilis dan jamu. Obat tradisional yang digunakan untuk ibu yang sedang nifas berfungsi membantu memperbaiki organ-organ reproduksi agar pulih seperti sebelum hamil. Tumbuhan obat tradisional yang digunakan pasca melahirkan ada yang diminum dan ada pula yang digunakan sebagai obat luar (dioleskan). Berikut ini akan disebutkan berbagai jenis tumbuhan obat yang digunakan dalam pengobatan ibu pasca melahirkan. Tumbuhan obat yang digunakan sebagai obat luar yakni pilis yang dioleskan dikening dan jamu sebagai pengobatan dari dalam.
