Abstract

Pengabdian ini berjudul tentang pentingnya mencuci tangan dengan menggunakan media origami pada siswa SD IT Bina Insani Desa Sialogo Angkola Barat Tapanuli Selatan. Perilaku kegiatan mencuci tangan pada siswa SD ini masih menjadi salah satu pembelajaran penting yang perlu untuk terus menerus diajarkan dan dipraktekkan. Karena pentingnya kegiatan mencuci tangan ini dalam menjaga kesehatan anak. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan penyuluhan dan contoh kepada siswa bagaimana mencuci tangan dengan 6 tahap menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan storytelling dengan media origami sebagai media penyampaian pesan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu antusiasme dari siswa dalam mengetahui tentang pentingnya mencuci tangan sebelum dan sesudah berkegiatan serta mempraktekkan cara mencuci tangan dengan 6 langkah. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap tentang pentingnya mencuci tangan diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu kegiatan menjaga kebersihan dan kesehatan tubuh yang menyenangkan bagi anak.
