Modern Midwifery Journal (JKM) is a journal published by the Undergraduate Midwifery Study Program in collaboration with LPPM Aufa Royhan Padangsidimpuan University on a national scale which covers many general issues or issues related to community services within the scope of midwifery science. The purpose of publishing this journal is to disseminate research results that have been achieved in the field of midwifery which includes comprehensive midwifery competencies.

In general, Modern Midwifery Journal (JKM) contains various health research results with specifications of the relevant scientific fields to be published in this journal, namely Reproductive Health, Midwifery Services, Midwifery Services for Mothers, BBL, Babies, Toddlers and Pre-School Children, Women's Empowerment, Technology Appropriate for use in the field of midwifery.
