Abstract

Kelas ibu hamil adalah salah satu bentuk pendidikan prenatal yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil danperubahan perilaku positif sehingga ibu diharapkan memeriksakan kehamilan dan melahirkan ke tenaga kesehatan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu sehingga siap dengan persalinannya dan perrawatan bayinya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan edukasi dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 9 orang dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan diakhiri dengan senam ibu hamil. Hasil evaluasi selama proses kegiatan berlangsung didapatkan seluruh peserta telah paham tentang perawatan kehamilan dan bayi baru lahir dan merasa bugar setelah senam hamil. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil dan termotivasi untuk aktif mengikuti kelas ibu hamil secara rutin.
