Abstract

Pola asuh adalah cara orang tua berinteraksi, mendidik, dan membimbing anak. Cara orang tua mengasuh akan berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional anak usia sekolah di SD Inpres 1 Talise. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, menggunakan desain observasional analitik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelas IV dan V di SD Inpres 1 Talise yang berjumlah 82 orang. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Probability Sampling. Hasil penelitian dari 45 responden menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar anak dengan hasil uji Chi-Square didapatkan p value 0,030 dan ada hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan kecerdasan emosional anak dengan hasil uji Chi-Square didapatkan p value 0,033. Terdapat ada hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosionala anak usia sekolah di SD Inpres 1 Talise. Diharapkan Bagi masyarakat, orang tua, dan SD Inpres 1 Talise agar memilih cara terbaik untuk mengasuh anak dan agar mengembangkan program pendidikan berkaitan dengan pola asuh orang tua di sekolah.
