Abstract

 

Infeksi tali pusat telah menjadi penyebab kesakitan dan kematian secara terus - menerus di berbagai negara. Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) setiap tahunnya 120 juta bayi lahir di dunia. Setiap tahunnya sekitar 500.000 bayi meninggal karena tetanus neonatorum dan 460.000 meninggal akibat infeksi bakteri. Infeksi sebagai salah satu penyebab kematian yang sebenarnya dapat dihindari dengan perawatan tali pusat yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang perawatan tali pusat di Klinik Pratama Murni tahun 2024. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain deskriftif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu nifas 40 hari yang ada di wilayah kerja Klinik Pratama Murni dengan tehnik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Analisa yang digunakan adalah uji univariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Karakteristik responden mayoritas berusia 20-35 tahun sebanyak 26 orang (61,9%) dan pendidikan mayoritas SMP sebanyak 14 orang (33,3%). Tingkat pengetahuan responden pengetahuan baik sebanyak 15 orang (35,7 %), pengetahuan cukup 8 orang (19%) dan pengetahuan kurang sebanyak 19 orang (45,2%). kesimpulan pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang perawatan paudara mayoritas kurang. Disarankan kepada petugas kesehatan agar lebih ditingkatkan pendidikan kesehatan terkait perawatan tali pusat.
