Abstract

Gerakan perbaikan gizi harus dimulai dari 1000 hari pertama kehidupan yaitu fase kehidupan yang dimulai sejak terbentuknya janin dalam kandungan (270 hari) sampai berusia 2 tahun (730 hari). Selain itu gerakan 1000 hari pertama kehidupan merupakan langkah awal dalam mencegah terjadinya stunting karena pada fase ini jika kebutuhan gizi ibu dan janin terpenuhi, maka pertumbuhan janin akan mengalami pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan perilaku ibu dan dukungan keluarga pada 1000 hari pertama kehidupan anak dengan kejadian stunting di Kecamatan Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang mempunyai bayi atau balita, menetap ≥ 1 tahun dan KK terdaftar di wilayah Kecamatan Somba Opu sebanyak 92 responden. Data penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara kuesioner yang terdiri dari data pengetahuan, sikap, Tindakan ibu serta dukungan keluarga selama masa 1000 HPK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel pengetahuan ibu (p=0,000), sikap ibu (p=0,000), tindakan ibu (p=0,002) dan dukungan keluarga (p=0,002) pada 1000 HPK dengan kejadian sunting di Kecamatan Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan agar dilakukan peningkatan health education tentang gizi pada remaja, ibu prahamil, ibu hamil dan ibu balita serta pemberdayaan kemandirian masyarakat dalam kecukupan protein hewani keluarga dan sayur.
