GAMBARAN DEMOGRAFI, PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP DAN PERILAKU PENGGUNA METODE KONTRASEPSI JANGKA PANJANG (MKJP) DAN NON MKJP

Abstract

Pengkajian mengenai penggunaan metode kontrasepsi jangka panjang (MKJP) menjadi penting karena tingkat pemanfaatannya masih rendah, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan karakteristik sosiodemografi serta tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku pengguna MKJP dan non-MKJP di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Sebanyak 399 wanita usia subur berpartisipasi, terdiri dari 197 pengguna MKJP dan 202 pengguna non-MKJP, dipilih melalui teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur yang telah lulus uji validitas (p < 0,05) dan reliabilitas (Cronbach’s alpha > 0,6). Analisis univariat digunakan untuk melihat distribusi frekuensi dan persentase. Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas responden berusia 25–45 tahun, berpendidikan menengah, dan berstatus ibu rumah tangga. Pengguna MKJP cenderung memiliki pendidikan lebih tinggi, lama menikah lebih dari lima tahun, memiliki lebih dari dua anak, serta berpenghasilan lebih besar dibandingkan pengguna non-MKJP. Mereka umumnya menerima layanan kontrasepsi dari puskesmas dan memiliki akses lebih dekat ke fasilitas kesehatan. Informasi kontrasepsi sebagian besar diperoleh dari tenaga kesehatan. Secara umum, pengguna MKJP memiliki pendidikan, akses informasi, dan layanan kesehatan yang lebih baik dibandingkan non-MKJP, sehingga hasil ini dapat menjadi dasar peningkatan edukasi dan pemerataan layanan kontrasepsi di pedesaan.
