Abstract

Stunting tetap menjadi masalah kesehatan global yang kritis, terutama di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Pemberdayaan masyarakat memainkan peran penting dalam memastikan keberlanjutan intervensi gizi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas model pemberdayaan masyarakat, khususnya melalui kader kesehatan (Posyandu) dan program gizi berbasis masyarakat, dalam mencegah stunting pada balita. Tinjauan literatur dilakukan menggunakan kerangka kerja PICOS. Data diperoleh dari basis data Google Scholar, PubMed, dan Garuda untuk periode 2022–2025. Sepuluh artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dianalisis. Tinjauan tersebut mengidentifikasi bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat secara signifikan berkontribusi pada pengurangan stunting melalui tiga mekanisme utama: peningkatan kapasitas kader kesehatan, pemanfaatan sumber daya pangan lokal untuk pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT), dan peningkatan perilaku sanitasi. Pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan intervensi yang efektif untuk pencegahan stunting. Penguatan pelatihan kader dan pengintegrasian kearifan lokal ke dalam program gizi direkomendasikan.
