Abstract

ABSTRAK

Nyeri leher merupakan keluhan muskuloskeletal yang sering dijumpai dan dapat memengaruhi aktivitas serta kualitas hidup penderitanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan asuhan akupunktur pada pasien dengan nyeri leher. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus terhadap satu partisipan laki-laki berusia 52 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui empat metode pemeriksaan, yaitu pengamatan, pendengaran dan penciuman, wawancara, serta perabaan, dengan validitas data diuji menggunakan triangulasi. Intervensi akupunktur diberikan sebanyak enam sesi terapi selama tiga minggu sesuai prinsip penatalaksanaan nyeri leher. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan keluhan nyeri leher yang dirasakan partisipan. Rentang gerak leher membaik, kekakuan berkurang, dan kualitas tidur meningkat. Perbaikan kondisi umum juga terlihat pada ekspresi wajah, serta temuan lidah dan nadi yang lebih seimbang. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk melibatkan jumlah partisipan yang lebih besar guna memperkuat temuan terkait asuhan akupunktur pada nyeri leher.
