Abstract

ABSTRAK

Low Back Pain Myogenic adalah gangguan fungsi otot-otot lumbal yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas berulang, seperti mempertahankan posisi duduk dalam waktu yang berkepanjangan, berdiri dengan jangka waktu yang panjang, atau membawa benda berat dalam posisi yang tidak ergonomis, kondisi ini ditandai dengan rasa nyeri tumpul yang tidak menjalar ke ekstremitas bawah. Prevalensi Low Back Pain (LBP) pada individu dewasa mencapai angka 50–80%, di mana sebagian besar populace mengalami setidaknya sekali seumur hidup, dengan populasi usia kerja sebagai kelompok paling rentan yang menjadi penyebab kecacatan tertinggi secara global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian TENS, Infra Red , dan Core Stability dalam peningkatan kekuatan otot (MMT), peningkatan lingkup gerak sendi (LGS), peningkatan  kemampuan fungsional dan berperan dalam mengurangi nyeri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus pada pasien dengan Low Back Pain Myogenic yang dilakukan di Klinik GFRR Karanganyar selama periode 5 Januari sampai 31 Januari 2026. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan mobilisasi sendi, peningkatan kekuatan otot, peningkatan kemampuan fungsional serta penurunan nyeri pada pasien dengan diagnosis Low Back Pain Myogenic. Pasien disarankan untuk menjalani terapi secara rutin dua kali dalam seminggu, melakukan olahraga secara teratur, menurunkan berat badan, mengurangi aktivitas yang berlebihan, serta memperoleh waktu istirahat yang cukup.

 

ABSTRACT

Myogenic low back pain is a dysfunction of the lumbar muscles caused by repetitive activities, such as maintaining a seated position for prolonged periods, standing for long periods, or carrying heavy objects in non-ergonomic positions; this condition is characterized by a dull pain that does not radiate to the lower extremities. The prevalence of Low Back Pain (LBP) in adults reaches 50–80%, with the majority of the population experiencing it at least once in their lifetime; the working-age population is the most vulnerable group and accounts for the highest rate of disability globally. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of TENS, Infrared therapy, and Core Stability exercises in improving muscle strength (MMT), increasing range of motion (ROM), enhancing functional ability, and reducing pain. This study employed a case study method on patients with Myogenic Low Back Pain conducted at the GFRR Clinic in Karanganyar from January 5 to January 31, 2026. The results demonstrated improved joint mobility, increased muscle strength, enhanced functional ability, and reduced pain in patients diagnosed with Myogenic Low Back Pain. Patients are advised to undergo therapy regularly twice a week, exercise regularly, lose weight, reduce excessive activity, and get adequate rest.
