ABSTRAK

 

Abstrak : Diabetes Melitus merupakan penyakit kronis yang disebabkan oleh ketidak mampuan tubuh untuk memproduksi hormon insulin  atau karena penggunaan yang tidak efektif dari produksi hormon. Hal ini ditandai dengan tingginya kadar gula dalam darah. DM menduduki peringkat ke 6 sebagai penyebab kematian di dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kejadian DM tipe 2 pada WUS di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pintupadang.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain case control dimana sampel kasus dan kontrol berjumlah 62 orang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis bivariat dengan uji chi square dan analisis multivariat dengan uji regresi logistik ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh Riwayat keluarga DM (p=0,005; OR=5,42),

ABSTRACT

 

Abstract: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease caused by the body's inability to produce the hormone insulin or due to ineffective use of hormone production. This is characterized by high levels of sugar in the blood. DM is ranked 6th as the cause of death in the world. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of type 2 DM in WUS in the Work Area of ​​the Pintupadang Community Health Center.This study was an observational analytic study with a case control design in which case and control samples amounted to 62 people. Data analysis methods used were bivariate analysis with chi square test and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression tests.The results showed that there was an influence of family history of DM (p = 0.005; OR = 5.42)
