PENGARUH RENDAM KAKI DENGAN AIR HANGAT TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI KELURAHAN TIMBANGAN TAHUN 2017

Abstract

Hypertension is a big problem, not only in continental European countries but also in Indonesia. Hypertension affects one billion people worldwide and is estimated to increase by 1.5 billion in 2025. Each year hypertension accounts for nearly 9.4 million deaths. The research is quantitative research. Quasi experimental research design. One-pretest posttest design research model. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted in April-May 2017. Data collection using Observation Sheet. Data analysis using alternative test Paired Sample Test Test. Based on the research on the first day can be concluded the influence of foot soak using warm water can lower blood pressure that can be seen with data before hypertension 2 as much as 10 (66,8%) respondents and after Hypertension 2 to 3 (20,1%) responder. On the second day, the majority of respondents who experienced hypertension were Hypertension 1, that is 10 respondents (66.5%) and minority category was found in Hypertension 2, 2 respondents (13.4%) and prehypertension 2 Respondents (13.4%). Result of alternative test of Paired Sample Test on the first day obtained Pvalue = 0.002 (<0,05), second day got Pvalue = 0.001 (<0,05). This research is expected to be one alternative treatment to lower blood pressure in people with hypertension.
