Abstract

Bencana adalah kejadian umum di dunia, dan penyebabnya mungkin alami, buatan manusia, teknologi, atau konflik antar kelompok manusia. Edukasi yang kurang mengenai pencegahan terjadinya banjir bandang menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab berisiko. Tujuan kegiatan Penyuluhan ini untuk memberikan edukasi kepada warga di daerah Lingkungan II kelurahan Batunadua Julu Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Batunadua Kota Padangsidimpuan tentang pengetahuan terkait bencana banjir. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan aplikasi Leaflet . Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama 2 jam pada Hari Rabu 14 Desember 2022 yang bertempat di daerah Lingkungan II kelurahan Batunadua Julu Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Batunadua Kota Padangsidimpuan Sumatera Utara. Hasil yang didapatkan setelah kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat di daerah Lingkungan II kelurahan Batunadua Julu Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Batunadua Kota Padangsidimpuan Sumatera Utara akan pencegahan terjadinya bencana banjir  bandang.
