Abstract

Patah tulang merupakan trauma yang sering terjadi akibat kecelakaan lalu lintas maupun kecelakaan kerja. Angka kejadiannya terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, sehingga memerlukan penanganan yang tepat dari semua pihak, seperti pelajar. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan sehingga peserta dapat memahami manajemen patah tulang dengan cepat dan tepat. Metode pelaksanaan pada kegiatan ini adalah pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan bentuk penyuluhan kesehatan. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelajar pada SMKN 1 Kota Padangsidimpuan dengan jumlah 33 orang. Sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan, partisipan akan diberikan kuesioner untuk mengukur pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan tersebut. Hasil pengukuran pengetahuan partisipan sebelum penyuluhan adalah 75,76 % memiliki pengetahuan rendah. Namun setelah dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan terdapat 63,64 % memiliki pengetahuan tinggi. Berdasarkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat terlihat bahwa kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta setelah dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan terkait manajemen patah tulang
